Milford toward east fork

 9/19/2021 milford towards east fork. Stopped at Binnings and olive branch-stone lick intersection. This is bt nct path.

This was my first road walk done as part of these travels.  The part in milford is nice and then enters valley view nature preserve.  Valley view is nice but the signage at the beginning is not well marked.  The trail overall in here is a bit of signage gap and hard to follow.  Its basically mowed meadow path so expect ticks and wet grass also poison ivy is common here.  It comes out to a parking are by a school and goes to round bottom road.  There is construction currently and the road is closed.  You can current get through and take the road to the right if going ccw on buckeye to binnings rd.  I mention this detail since the other is across a bridge and it is not open, eventually when reopens there is access to a udf and a few stores near round bottom rd here.  Round bottom road does not have sidewalks and there is at times heavy traffic. Binnings rd there is almost no traffic.  I saw a few wild turkeys I believe on this road as well.

I ran into a very nice gentleman on binnings that offered me a cold beverage and mentioned he likes to chat and do the same for those that pass.  He has seen a few come by this point.

I took an uber from the intersection back to milford trailhead.  Next time will be eastfork cw toward milford and will see if I can reach same intersection.
