East fork sp toward Milford

I had to still finish out this part and make it back to where I stopped last time at Binnings and olive branch-stone lick intersection.  Took an uber back so this is all one way.  Which I think is the way to do these but I know at some point I will get burned and not have a ride 😊

I started at the visitor center for harsha lake on Slate rd.  Due to covid it seems it is closed but there is a nice overlook area of the lake from here and a picnic area as well.

The trip starts down Slate rd over the dam and till it dead ends.  From here you take part of the perimeter trail which is marked in green.

This little section was welcome since I thought it was mostly road walk here.  There is one spot where the trail makes a switch back at least from this view you see the turn but the sign is for those coming from the other way.  It's not bad just one turn there.  It rambles through and there a place where the 2 trails split.  The green trail is marked and blaze for bt is visible.  The green perimeter trail seem to go toward water but the bt goes toward and old road I believe it was.  You continue road walk for a while here.  Roads are quiet and easy almost fully besides 222.

So this will eventually lead you into Batavia. At some point the sidewalk begins and you can walk a bit easier.  This continues till 32 mentioned later. There is current a small coffee place on the corner of the turn at main st and I got a cup here.  There is also a udf on the opposite corner as well.  From here more road walk over a river view from a bridge before uc clermont.  As your leaving town there is the 32 highway and you need to take the on ramp, but there is a road that connects here that you walk.  There was light traffic here and this road renames to another road shortly after you walk.  There is a end of the road where it looks like you should go straight but the path and marker are behind the barrier for Ross rd while is now forest also from this direction it's up hill very much all the way till you exit the woods on the maintained Ross road.
Right way into the woods

Wrong way

This section was again very welcome and even if short its it a nice woods adventure to mix in to the road walk.  As you continue down ross there is new construction and at some point a barrier between non maintained and new- there is almost a old in woods section, a not as bad old road part, and a new road section.  From here it's back to road walking and be careful on 222 since traffic but no edges to walk.  These cars are going at least 40 50 it feels like.
