12/17/2023 Shawnee pt 23 to pt 25

Meet D&V at quality inn in Seaman where we both stayed we drove to pt25 and worked out parking. Final determination was Hayslip Cemetery. We then drove to pt23 and looked at hunter cabin halfway between pt 23 and 24. I did not feel comfortable with sunshine ridge in rain and parked at pt23. We walked back to Hayslip cemetery.

5.80mi + 0.78mi additional to parking = 6.58mi total

Dave had to walk back to car to get poles.

This is a turn around near pt24

Pt24 cox cemetery the road ends here.

This is the bt leaving the cemetery.  There is also a road but that is not the path, but you can take the road as well, the trail does come back across the road in a short while.

I believe this is the view where the bt crossed the road again.

We continue to climb up a hill.

This was odd. Apparently the Bt formerly came through here at hayslip cemetery.
