12/9/2023 Shawnee pt 12 to pt 14
Met up with Krista at Shawnee State Park pt14. Then we drove to near pt12 just past to pull of fs rd 3 and walked back to pt 14. One way walk. Krista continued on to pt 16 on Mackletree rd to complete Shawnee section. Also to note Ellie the hiking dog was with Krista and got to hike with us this time.

Hike was walk on road to start
This was the caronsite marker to where we turned into woods.
This is the initial view of the start of the up hill into the woods.
This was most of the hike. Along a ridge line and a few ups and downs. Really good hike but it's a workout.
Trail in great shape and is winter so lots bare trees and leaves on ground.
We walked by this as well. At first thought we were not alone but this seems to have been there a while.
Nice view of a blaze and its well marked.
I could have done better with pictures. No start no end. I normally get those.
