2/11/2022 had day off went out to boat ramp pt11 was ok not great to park total 8.6 miles out and back from pt11 to pt9 in caeesar creek. So this is all in park. From boat ramp to where trails meet. This is bt not nct miles.
Had some issues with mapping. I had map my walk and farout both active. Neither really did the job.
On farout also shows I skipped a section I confirmed this was not the case on way back.
You can see my blue dot there showing I'm on the "unwalked" area.
You can see how much ice is on the road and trails. Only fell a few times.
These are signs at intersection of horse trails. There is also a side trail here I think goes to horseman camp.
These pictures are showing the place where the horse trails join and the various signs seen here.
View from one trail to the end where the other trail starts.
Your walking along the saddle dam.
Ice and more ice.
Great views of lake in this section. Rough path since horse trail. In winter there is much left from a heavy ice storm.
Amazing views of snow covered trail. While maybe not well marked the trail is obvious with clearing like this.
Many creek crossings. Frozen over here a bit slick but manageable.
At the cemetery near a pt and the trail is off to the side before this by maybe 5 feet.
There is a bridge on path and signs on both sides of this.
Very confusing field sections and path crossings.
This is the entry of road to parking at boat ramp. It has been icy from the storm for a couple weeks now.
