The sign at lockington locks.

I was not too sure of the path. I think it goes into the lock area but the map says road walk.  Later it is blazed on the road.  I went road from the sign.

Here is the view of the dam.

The marker at the road to dam walk.

A better view of the dam.

This is the walk to the dam.

So you walk this field along the dam.

Ok no signs down here and this is in that field.  This is the view looking back.

Wildflowers weeds but nice yellow flowers.

I think this sign is marking coming into lockington reserve.  It is after the field and a short road walk.  There is a parking area here as well.

A sign just inside this area.

The view as you enter.  A nice paved surface and it leads to multiple meadow or grassy paths.  The buckeye trail goes toward the shelter here and is by the tree line.

Ok in the left there is a trail blaze, but on the right you see a trail into the woods.  Take the trail into the woods this is confirmed closer up you will see trail blazes just down the trail.

View into the woods opening.  There is a blaze on that tree.

Officially official now there is a sign and a blaze.  It is not common to see such signs really.  Mostly blazes but it is just further confirmation.  You are not yet lost.

A walk into the wooded section.  Nice day for getting out and enjoying the weather.

A bridge.

A first for me.  A trail log.  I put my coffee down and signed the log.  Was quite nice to finally see one.  There is notes about the person that maintains this section Spencer I believe.  Also was sorta surprised the last entry was only last week.

A road crossing with a barrier up.

Better picture of the barrier.

View of same looking back.

TROUBLE.  So there is a major tree down and it has taken out some additional brush here too.  The natural feel is to go to the left but it is through this mess.

Cool tree with blaze and some fungi activity.

Trail is becoming overgrown the further in you go.

Approaching the road here.

The road where you exit.

Newly planted corn field.

First turn at the road.

Cows white cows

Hello white cows

This farm looked like a toy set.  It is on a turn corner as well.

Next turn.  Final turn to go to pt.5.  A bit more traffic on this road than prior.

Going on road.  This is view.

Brick house monument.

Is it that house back there?

Better view of it.

The river rivers along some of this are quite nice.  This was a view from a bridge.

Just some art graffiti along the way.

Seen from road.

First settler marker.

I think that might be it here.

Another view

Road goes on and on and on....

Side along the river.

There is a cemetery at pt5.  There is no parking but some side area if needed.
