9/22/2023 West Union pt 7 to pt 4
7.25mi one way miles
This was to be a nice relaxing weekend in West Union area booked a cabin in peebles. I am a network engineer and at times I get calls or the need to work off hours when there is an emergency. The day after I booked the cabin we had some issues that would require some additional work by another team after hours.
As is normally the case this means network was as needed to at least provision access or if some other need was seen to help with this work. My coworker was able to cover but still there was some issues and got the call to assist at 130am till about 830am. That about killed any plans of Saturday. Let's see if I can get some miles maybe Sunday. This was my use of the day off Friday before the issue.
Drove out with mom, went to pt4 at the edge parking and then drove back to pt7 where I was dropped off. Only one issue with dogs. I was past the house so the dog did not follow. The only other dog encounter was a nice German Shepard that was with a farmer on Waggoner Riffle road. Mom drove the car back down to the edge. This was almost all down hill from pt7 to pt4.
