2/18/2024 Defiance pt14 to pt12 and past.
This was to be a weekend of Defiance hiking. It's still winter and snow got in the way. Heavy snow Friday night, so I made it up north on Saturday afternoon. I could have got some hiking in town but meet fellow hikers on Saturday for dinner at Outlaw smokehouse. A nice little BBQ place in Napoleon to discuss plan for Sunday. We gathered at Ritter Park 9am which was a bit of issue since farout calls it one spot and the sign is else where. From there we shuttled to pt14 which has a trailhead parking spot. Overall it was Dave, Victoria, Rebecca, Susan on the hike. Also Roxanna had a piece earlier and met us at pt13 and walked back to Ritter Park. This was her 1100th mile.
