2/11/2024 Scioto Trail pt29 to pt34.
Met Krista and Christina, at Pike Lake State Park.
This was first time meeting Christina for a hike.
We drove to a small convenience store near pt29 where we parked to walk back to the car.
I was unaware, but this piece has quite a few stream crossings. It was a wet boot day not good but survived.
After the hike went to Ponderosa with Krista. It was super bowl Sunday and I wanted wings.
9.73mi hike total
Bt sections complete- completed Sinking Spring
Loveland, Ceasar Creek, Troy, Williamsburg, St. Marys, Delphos, West Union, Sinking Spring.
Bt miles 1 way based on complete sections
45.9mi + 55.1mi + 51.9mi + 51.7mi + 45.5mi + 46.5mi + 58.5mi + 53.9mi + 55.7mi = 464.7mi
nct total this year 36.95mi + 9.73mi = 46.68mi
Total for year 40.35mi + 9.73mi= 50.08mi

Bainbridge mural.
This is at the convenience store near pt29.
Changing county here.
I guess Pike Lake is in Pike County.
We started on the road.
Heading into the woods from the road
This was an interesting sign
Krista trying to get across safely
Another stream crossing
Christina walking across. Going barefoot.
Might have been the right call to be honest.
Another crossing
Very confused sign here
Some part of the trail were not stream crossing.
Here we go again
Forest was just awesome
Another stream
Nice marker. Over all the trail here is well marked
Another lake here. Not sure what the name of this one is.
Going down the hill
Stream crossing
Huge mushroom
There was a spot on the trail these were all over the ground.
These mushrooms where neat on this log.
Oh boy here we go again.
Seems some trails are numbered and the pole looks numbered perhaps it is the intersection that is numbered to match a map.
I can't tell the other trails signs. Mostly white then red toward the end. I believe they are horse trails from the condition.
This sign has seen better days
There was a turn just before this sign. The bt intersects with it.
This was another down sign coming down the hill.
Many different signs along the way out especially
Yep that's the state park office and lake down there
If you look close the cars can be seen across the lake.
This is right before walking next to the lake back to the car
This is where we parked by pt 29
And ponderosa in hillsboro for post hike meal.
