2/3/2024 Scioto Trail pt17 to after pt24

2/3/2024 Drove out Friday night to holiday inn in Logan to get an early start. Met up with Krista at last spot we left off in Scioto Trail section at airport rd on pt 17 at 930am. We decided to flip flop Roxanna style and make a call to continue or not. We went to parking near pt 22. This parking is a bit dodgy it a edge where the road is just wide enough to have 2 cars there. Slightly further down the road there are a few better spots we saw on the return but parked near pt22. We went from pt22 to pt 17. Then drove to a gas station between pt24 and pt25. This gas station is about .3mi up 23 from the intersection of trail. We walked from gas station to intersection of bt/23 through 24 to pt 22.

Stayed at Burroak lodge since there is hiking Sunday with D&V nearby.

5.28mi + 4.70mi =9.98mi hike total

Bt sections complete- completed Sinking Spring 

Loveland, Ceasar Creek, Troy, Williamsburg, St. Marys, Delphos, West Union, Sinking Spring.

45.9mi + 55.1mi + 51.9mi + 51.7mi + 45.5mi + 46.5mi + 58.5mi + 53.9mi + 55.7mi = 464.7mi

nct total this year 15.19mi + 9.98mi = 25.17mi

Overall nothing too serious but I could see if the streams are up this trek would have been bad.

This must be near the start of second hike.  We had to cross 23.  It's a bit scary.
