2/4/2024 New Straitsville pt19 to pt13

2/4/2024 after staying at the lodge Saturday night got up early to pack and get ready to meet the group. This was with Krista and Ellie, Dave and Victoria. We meet at pt13 at the dam vistor parking. There is a bathroom seasonal and a portalet was also available, Krista meet us at the far end at pt19. Parking at pt19 is easy and available on the street. We walked from pt19 back to the dam.

It was a long drive back. McDonalds was slow. Got pulled over, that's a first in a long time- I was guilty as sin, but he let me go with a warning.

Today is day 35 of year, Finally on track for 365

I should have got a picture of this front.  

It is very odd.  Normally they are fully painted not just the top.  Not sure this is official.  The front says WASPS INSIDE.  Sure enough could see the big tunnels and how it is mounted is less than optimal.  Does not seem good for a tree.  There is a former log but the pages are long gone.
