Stayed Saturday night in Defiance. Actually let me add from Cincinnati to here we stopped and helped my niece at University of Dayton with a trip to walmart. She was going to come home but covid struck at home so she was semi stuck.

We went out to eat. I set the reservation on open table since it was rated so highly. It is at a country club that is open to the public.
This was at Sweetwater Chophouse.

Dinner menu, I did not get a picture of the back where all the entrees are.
Dessert was good
Egg rolls filled with pulled pork
Shrimp fondue and bread to spread it on
Mom got the crab cakes. Which were huge and very good.
Steak and fries also good a nice ribeye and crispy fries is a combo for the win.
Saw this on the drive back to hotel.

We start with a road walk

There was a ground hog here. You see many holes and often you hear them but rare to see this close.

More road at least not much traffic and it's just gravel township roads.
First off road section. And the trail was so well maintained. Not blazed well but the path was obvious. Was a bit nervous though this area since there are so many notes and warnings but no issues overall.

It almost pokes out before the road. You get a nice view of this yard and house.
Back to jungle. And it's a bit rougher here.

Still off road we just switch to more plains and farm edge... old tow path for canal.

Tried to go the the canal museum but it was closed in Delphos. City was mostly shutdown since it is a holiday weekend and Sunday.
Picture of the order board at the creamery it's huge. So many options.

We stopped at The Creamery in Delphos since you have to right. It should be part of every buckeye trail journey.
For dinner we sent to a buffet in Napoleon
Hong Kong buffet it was recommended by hotel.
Had to get a picture with the cow. This is out in from of the dairy company. Painted cow. Awesome.
In Kalida I believe. Huge mural showing the whole town.
